The Paradise Builders

I. Introduction
The Paradise Builders is a series of documentaries and a reality TV show. It is an unprecedented, open-ended social experiment caught on film combining three major elements: an uninhabited island, a diet before fire and a group of strangers embarked on a unforgettable journey of self-discovery and awakening. It mixes the major attributes of Survivor, Fear Factor, Lost and Rail Road in one single show. No matter how participants will approach it and what their experience of it may be, a stay on the island unavoidably will become a life-transforming experience.

II. The Island
In order to offer the most authentic Robinson Crusoe experience, the island the Paradise Builder tribe is staying on is strictly uninhabited and undeveloped. All tribe members will have a chance to literally get away from it all. No roads, no cars, no houses and no shopping centers. Solely emerged into its natural beauty and serenity, it is just them and the island.

III. The Stay on the Island
Participants will experience a new life and discover the true person beyond "the noise." They will be facing the challenges and magical moments of a hunter-gatherer life as well as exploring love without boundaries as a close-knit tribe. Paradise Builders is more than just a simple island adventure. It is a journey into the depth, strength and beauty of the human spirit.

IV. The Tribe
The social experiment starts on a sailing yacht with 6 adults on board. Once the yacht reaches the island, the core group will welcome new tribe members up to a total of 25 people altogether. Besides making a commitment to apply an all-raw hunter-gatherer diet, tribe members will agree to a polyamorous lifestyle, meaning allow themselves to love more than one person whenever affinities naturally arise.

Once on the island, the tribe will have to organize diverse food sources and shelter in order to make life on the island sustainable —all of which will have to be done with an absolute respect of the existing eco-system. The goal is to reach self-sufficiency within the first 5 years.

The Paradise Builders is an open-ended social experiment so group life on the island will go on after filming stops.

V. The Yacht
The Paradise Builders documentary and TV show starts with a sailing trip half across the planet. The sailing yacht "Sanctuary", a 46ft world cruiser will bring a first group of 6 people to the island. Sanctuary will be at anchor near-by during the entire time of the experiment and serve as a first home of the core group once it reaches the island. It will also be the link to the mainland for provisioning until life on the island becomes fully sustainable.

The prime ocean voyage will be a time for all participants to get to know each other as well as learn survival skills, food gathering techniques and the application of an all-raw hunter-gatherer diet in the wild. It will also be an extraordinary opportunity to acquire the basics of sailing, deep sea fishing and life on the ocean. All participants will share day-to-day tasks such as night watches while sailing, boat maintenance and cleaning, provisioning and so on.

VI. The Diet
One aspect of The Paradise Builders is the application of an all-raw hunter-gatherer diet in a semi-wild or wild environment. This particular diet is pretty much the way our pre-paleolithic ancestors ate prior to tool-making more than 2 million years ago. Unlike modern diets, all-raw hunter-gatherer diet is based on biodiversity. The absence of staple foods and the exclusion of all forms of processing allows for a perfect integration of human beings into the ecosystem.

Gathering their own food and consumming it by instinct in a raw unprocessed state will ultimately help participants become one with the island. They will intrisically be a part of its life and natural symphony. Because it is so deeply interwoven with the origin of our species, the all-raw prepaleolithic diet is the mother of all human diets.

VII. About Us
The Paradise Builders is a branch project of the Institute of Genetic Anthropology —A non-profit organization which role is to study all aspect of human life from a evolutionary and biological perspective in hope of finding clues that may improve people lives around the world.
